58th IRSE Annual Dinner was held on 9 May 2024

Over 285 people from across the railway industry joined us at the 58th Annual Dinner held at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London UK.

We are delighted to announce that over £855 was raised for our linked charity RedR who have sent these thanks to all those who donated on the night -

We would like to thank you for your fundraising efforts, raising £855 in aid of RedR. Your support makes it possible for us to continue our important work, training aid workers and communities around the world to prepare for and respond to disasters. Millions of people each year are affected by disasters, both natural and man-made. With more than 40 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, we at RedR know that humanitarian relief is often the only source of practicable support for those who've lost so much in life. When disaster strikes, local communities are the first to respond. That is why we focus on building the skills of national aid workers and local organisations in disaster-prone countries. Our approach ensures that even in the most vulnerable countries, there remains a cohort of trained humanitarians ready to respond to future disasters.

None of this would be possible without your support, so thank you again.
Yours sincerely,
Bernadette Sexton CEO Red R UK

We would love to keep you updated on our work. Please find a link to receive our newsletter: RedR UK (list-manage.com).

Thank you again for your generosity and for choosing RedR UK as the charity for this event this year as well. I would like to extend our gratitude to the IRSE President and the entire committee.
