Non Technical Skills Courses

Network Rail have kindly allowed IRSE members to benefit from their e-learning on non-technical skills for signal engineering, regardless of what infrastructure they are working on

The adherence to engineering processes and safety can be improved by developing people's non-technical skills.  Non-technical skills are social, cognitive and personal skills that can enhance the way we carry out technical skills/tasks and follow procedures.

The Network Rail e-learning course is comprised of 7 modules which will help develop your understanding of non-technical skills and show you how they have the potential to impact on a range of situations.

Each module is expected to take approximately 45 minutes to complete. There is no assessment and you are able to revisit each completed module. Please complete the training in a safe and secure environment.

IRSE members will be able to see access details below (log in required).
