IRSE Annual General Meeting 2024

Due to the technical difficulties experienced on 25 April 2024 members joining online were unable to follow proceedings and, in accordance with our constitution, the meeting subsequently had to be adjourned as it was not quorate. 

The reconvened AGM will be held on Wednesday 15 May at 18:00 (BST) in London UK and online (booking by Tuesday 7 May is essential for in-person attendance).  All IRSE members are invited to join us, and corporate members encouraged to vote on the three resolutions listed in the formal notice 
 

IRSE members who are eligible to vote are those who have paid their 2023/24 subscriptions and are corporate members (Associate Members AMIRSE, Members MIRSE, Fellows FIRSE and Honorary Fellows HonFIRSE)

Please note: proxy votes already submitted still stand and will be counted at the reconvened AGM. If you have already placed a proxy vote but wish to change your vote, you must contact the IRSE team at emailing contact@irse.org with the details of your change and your membership number.

By order of the Council, AGM’s will usually be held in the country of the incoming President, the reconvened AGM will be held at TfL, 5 Endeavour Square, London E20 1JN UK
 

The formal proceedings of the IRSE will include voting on a special resolution on petitioning for a Royal Charter (see https://www.irse.org/Get-Involved/Royal-Charter) 

The reconvened AGM will be followed by the first Presidential Lecture of the "Unsung Heroes" lecture series, entitled "Workforce challenges and successes in London Underground’s 4 Lines Modernisation Project".
