IRSE Body of Knowledge - section 7 system validation, safety acceptance and commissioning

System validation is a technique used to check and confirm that a delivered project meets its defined requirements. These techniques may include reviews, testing and analysis. Safety acceptance of a system or project will be linked to a safety case which should provide a clear, complete and valid line of reasoning that a system is acceptably safe to operate in a specific context, this is usually a documented process.

The document library below contains some of the documents referred to in section 7 of the Body of Knowledge document.

You are reminded that this Body of Knowledge was published in 2003 and therefore some references will not be up-to-date.
