The IRSE mentoring scheme is undergoing a review at present, but remains available to all members, facilitating managed relationships between those in need of support (the mentees) and those helping and supporting them (the mentor). The mentor remains someone who provides guidance, help and support in the pursuit of the mentee's goal for the duration of the mentee's learning process.
The IRSE has produced a mentoring handbook which gives details of the scheme together with a number of forms to guide the mentor and mentee through the mentoring agreement and process.
If you would like to have a mentor to help with your skills development or your career, please read the IRSE mentoring handbook which fully explains the scheme, complete the mentee application form and forward it to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are willing to help others by being a mentor to help someone's skill development or career, and also benefiting your own professional development, then we would very much like to hear from you.
