York Section - Maintain a post COVID railway
10 Dec 2020 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Section: York Section

Once again, we are offering a paper with a maintenance theme, delivered by a collection of signal engineers.

The past 12 months have seen change unlike anything for many years, the logistics in terms of assuring a safe and reliable railway are more challenging than ever, many of our routine activities make social distancing impossible.

In order to convince commuters to return to rail post COVID we must ensure trains run on time, every time, this highlights the need for our signalling assets to have greater diagnostic capability.

This paper will explore how the latest remote condition monitoring is being applied to signalling assets to improve our understanding of asset health.

We will demonstrate a new platform which transforms data into information which signal engineers can use to make better decisions.
As usual we will be telling it as it is!

This presentation will take place on Zoom. Click this link (Meeting ID: 864 1153 8936 and Passcode: Lecture)
