The North Eastern Railway Engineers' Forum are pleased to announce details of their 2022 meeting, themed 'designing, managing and controlling trains in the North East'

It is a meeting in York and online with talks by Samuel Marchant (Azuma fleet performance development), Paul Staples (TransPennine Express rolling stock), Hannah Lomas and Andrew Morgan (TransPennine Route Upgrade continued...) and Robin Davis (designing EMR's new trains).

This is a virtual and in-person event - Please register at bit.ly/neref2022.  A buffet will be provided from 17:30 for those joining in person at York Priory Street Centre, generously sponsored by Sabre Rail. Please note that you will not get an acknowledgement immediately on registering, but a reminder will be sent out a few days before the meeting, and for online participants, the log-in details will be sent out the day before.

The North Eastern Railway Engineers' Forum represents members of the professional institutions involved in railway engineering that are located in North East England- ICE, IMechE, IET, PWI and IRSE. The aim is to inform engineers within and across disciplines of significant developments within our industry and region.
