Midland and North West Section technical visit to Unipart Dorman on 22nd January 2020

With the valued support of Unipart Dorman Limited, the IRSE Midlands and North West and Minor Railways sections have jointly arranged a technical visit to the Unipart Dorman campus and manufacturing facilities in Southport on Wednesday 22nd January 2020.
The visit will commence at 10:00 at Unipart Dorman Limited. Please report to the main reception.
During the day there will be a break for a buffet lunch. There is no registration fee for this event.
Parking is available at the front and side of the factory and the postcode , if using sat nav is PR9 7RR. Please reverse into the marked bays to comply with the safety policy.
Public transport is by train to Meols Cop station then a 10 minute walk to the factory or the main station in Southport and a taxi. Direct trains run from Manchester Victoria and Southport to Meols Cop and from Liverpool to Southport.
On arrival please report to the main reception.
PPE - Please wear closed non-slip shoes. Hi-vis will be provided if required.
