This year we bring to you a signalling system based workshop with exciting interactive talks and games, purely aimed at motivating the participants to think outside the (signal) “box”. The workshop will emphasise on the importance of engineering safety and the role it plays in the way the signalling system is developed. In addition, we will have two sessions of attempting exam questions; there will be parallel sessions for each of the two papers. Individuals will be able to choose on the day which to attend in each time slot and therefore can concentrate on just one module or mix-and-match. Success in the exam depends both on having the requisite underpinning knowledge and having the skill to interpret questions and construct pertinent answers within the time available; these sessions will focus on developing these skills.
