Inauguration
The North American section was organized at its initial meeting in Louisville, Kentucky on May 24, 2002.
2006 AGM
The North American section has returned to Louisville and continued with a standing tradition where members presented topics of interest via presentations. The section was fortunate to have IRSE President John Francis provide a discussion on IRSE international activities, and show interesting and historic videos on railway signaling. The next morning offered a unique visit to CSX’s Osborne classification yard. The section is very much in debt to CSX for providing the members with access to this facility and making the 2006 AGM a great success.
