The North American section had its initial meeting in Louisville, Kentucky on May 24, 2002.
How to join
Membership of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers is required before you can become a member of the North American section of the IRSE. You will then need to complete a North American section application form which is available below.
AGM & Conference at RSSI
On May 18th, 2009 the North American Section (NAS) held its Annual General Meeting at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. It was again held in conjunction with the Railway Systems Suppliers Inc. (RSSI) annual product show. See the More Information box for details of the AGM and the mini-conference.
